B.C. Policy re New Mental Disorder Presumption
WorksafeBC has published amendments to the Rehabilitation Services & Claims Manual (the Manual) with respect to the new mental disorder presumption for "eligible occupations". Section 5.1 of the Manual, which addresses mental disorders generally, has been revised to change how WorksafeBC defines a traumatic event and to clarify how WorkSafeBC assesses evidence of a traumatic event or significant stressor.
